A Winter Wanderlust

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” # Mark Twain

Paging home decor 101

Ladies and gentlemen, my apologies, I have to interrupt this photo blog for a special announcement. =)

Also, a big shout-out to visitors from Lifealicious, thank you for dropping by.

I have been a long time follower of Lifealicious and love how the blog beams with ideas and inspirations post after post. As luck would have it, I happened to meet and work with Komal Nishka, the vivacious lady behind the blog, on some work related projects. So when she asked me to write a guest post for Lifealicious on my recent quest for holiday décor at home furnishing store, Pottery Barn, how could I say no.

You may read the article here.

Oh! Wait there’s more. For all you Pottery Barn fans, here’s some good news. The store will open its second outlet in Dubai on Jan 20, 2011 at the Dubai Mall and will be located on the ground level next to Blooming Dales. One unique feature that you can take advantage of here will be the availability of monogram services. Customers can get any kind of fabrics, be it bed sheets, bathrobes, napkins, etc. from Pottery Barn and get them monogrammed to their liking.

For those of you who are “decoration-challenged” like moi, Pottery Barn holds an hour long decorating class each month to give you the much needed inspiration. Additionally, the store also plans to introduce these classes in Arabic. So, if you are interested or know anyone who would love to attend these sessions do let Pottery Barn know.
